Growing up can be hard. Citing our resources...

Growing up can be tough for example, “The school yard was desolate and gray. But everything seemed that way since Maizon left.” Margaret had lost a friend very close to her and her father in this resource, Last Summer with Maizon; it shows life can be a pain.

In resource three, “Wake me up when September ends”, in the third stanza it shows how long he has lost his dad and how he remembers the pain, “like my father's come to pass seven years has gone so fast wake me up when September ends.” It again shows how he remembers the pain every September, waiting for it to end. “like my father's come to pass twenty years has gone so fast wake me up when September ends.”

Her dad has died and Maizon is leaving to Connecticut
“I feel like I have lost a daughter” Mrs. Tory said.
Maizon and Margret where like sisters they even wear the same outfits everyday
She wrote a poem about her dad being gone and her best friend leaving her
Mrs. Peazle made her write the poem again about her father death and her feelings about her friend leaving
She got a note from Mrs. Peazle that said I like your note
“Momma is laughing now she works hard and she cries”
They have to call each other to figure out what outfits to where
Margret sent her two letters and she hasn’t sent her one
Time can’t erase the memory and time can’t bring you home last summer was a part of me and now a part is gone

Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are

The chain link fence surrounding the courts.”
